Go Sighting #17: Meiji Jade and Agate Go Stones

A beautiful set of go stones from the Meiji Era (明治時代). The white stones are agate (瑪瑙) and the dark stones are spinach color nephrite jade (碧玉). The set comes with beautiful cushions for resting the mulberry bowls. All this is housed inside an interesting early Meiji period paulownia box.
The stones are around 1.1-1.2 cm thick and about 2.1 cm wide.

Interesting set of go stones, bowls, and storage container.
The reflection of the ceiling light in the form of squares on each stone is very nice.
